David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is a famous American anchor, journalist and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. The most popular newscast of America is his show featuring dramatic video clips and animated gestures. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning show. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, it was his primary replacement for the show's founder Diane Sawyer. His reports on primetime to ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint Refugees and America. He has been to many nations around the world reporting the news. From Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. He is the recipient of multiple Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Honors and Awards from Associated Press.
